Mental Health Counseling Services
The School of Health Professions is dedicated to enhancing student access to mental health resources by offering free, confidential counseling services conveniently located in the Health Sciences Innovation Building. We recognize that life’s challenges don’t pause during rigorous academic programs—in fact, they can often intensify. Our on-site therapist, Galaxia Raneri, is available to support you through both academic pressures and personal concerns, including transitional issues and other stressors you may face.
Wellness Events
The School of Health Professions is actively developing wellness initiatives to better support students. While professional academic environments can sometimes foster feelings of competition and isolation, we are committed to creating a more connected and inclusive atmosphere. Feedback from health professionals consistently shows that students who experienced a sense of belonging and community during their graduate studies reported better overall health and emotional well-being than those who felt isolated. Our team is working to create opportunities for students to build connections, reduce stress and foster a supportive environment.
