Amber Bartz is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the University of Arizona. She is a board-certified clinical specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS) and Pelvic & Women's Health Physical Therapy (PWCS), as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT).

Dr. Bartz earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Midwestern University and her Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Andrews University. She completed residency and fellowship training in orthopedic manual physical therapy. Her teaching interests include orthopedic physical therapy, manual therapy, pelvic health, pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based clinical practice. She is passionate about preparing future physical therapists to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care through excellence in clinical reasoning and lifelong learning.
