Fall 2026 Dates

Applications for the fall of 2026 will be open from Sept. 12, 2025 until the end of the day on Dec. 18, 2025. A maximum of five students will be admitted to the GCGP for the 2026-2027 academic year; the program will participate in the NMS Match system. Students who are admitted to the GCGP will be notified by the U of A Graduate College and the GCGP. The application deadline is Dec. 18, 2025.

We extend the deadline for recommenders to submit their letters by a couple of weeks each year — this cycle, the deadline is Jan. 9, 2026.
