CatCard Access

Students and other individuals involved in HSD activities may request after-hours CatCard access to HSD facilities. To request access, please review the policies linked here and then complete our online request form:

To minimize disruptions to classes, HSD space users are asked to consult the program’s Google Calendar before planning any activities in the HSD suite.

Equipment Use

Whether you plan to use HSD’s 3D printers or other equipment during regular business hours or after hours (irrespective of your CatCard access status), please be mindful of classes that may be in session. Class times can be found on Student Center Class Search or the program’s Google Calendar. If you need assistance while using equipment, the calendar also indicates times when an HSD Making Assistant is available on a drop-in basis. If you need assistance at another time, please check in with your instructor or email uahsdesign@arizona.edu to inquire about making an appointment.

Space Scheduling for Campus Events

In many cases HSD facilities can be made available to faculty, staff, students and designated campus colleagues at the U of A when they are not in use for HSD classes or events. For more information, see the policies and request form linked here:
